A number of fundraising and social events are held throughout the year and are enjoyed by members of the local community as well as those with closer links to the school. Events have included a Scarecrow trail, sponsored events such as a walk or a 'Danceathon', a Pop-up restaurant event, a Pledge Auction or Summer and Christmas Fairs.
Funds raised by these events benefit the pupils at the school in a number of ways: visits to the school from musicians, specialists sports coaches and theatrical groups as well as provision of resources such as sports and outdoor equipment which could otherwise not be purchased. Children also enjoy regular school trips and funds are used to assist in the provision of these by subsidising transport and entrance fees.
