It is a legal requirement that each school should have a named school Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for Child Protection.
In our school we currently have four members of staff who have received the training to be a Designated Safeguarding Lead and they are:

Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead - Carly Robinson (Maternity Leave)
Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead - Miss Penny Parr
Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead - Mrs Josephine Thornton
Our DSLs follow the guidance laid down in: DfE document - Keeping Children Safe in Education - September 2025 and the inter agency procedures produced by the Local Safeguarding Partnership (NSSP).
