Climate Action Plan
Our Eco-Warriors have been working hard to determine their environmental priorities for 2025-2026. They decided on the following which have been organised into our Climate Action Plan for 2025-2026...
- Plant more vegetables and bee friendly plants
- Compost all our waste food
- Pick up litter from around the school area as well as around the school
- Make sure everyone uses the blue recycle bins and remind people what items can go in them
- Use as little plastic as possible and only laminate when absolutely necessary
- Be mindful of not wasting water
- Reuse rainwater for watering plants
- Don't leave doors open in the winter
- Switch off any electrical items when not in use
- Talk to the school about what being environmentally friendly means
- Reuse and upcycle where possible - old books for scrap paper, old materials for art projects etc
- Buy second hand where possible
